Momma's Cornbread
4 cups of self-rising meal (Martha White)
2 cups of self-rising flour (Gold Medal)
1 teaspoon baking powder (Clabber Girl)
1 teaspoon sugar
3 eggs
2 cups (more or less) Buttermilk
Preheat oven to 425degrees. Mix all
ingredients well. Pour into a well-greased iron skillet (I like Crisco) and
bake until light brown on top, approximately 30 minutes.
