Apple Streusel Nut Bread
BREAD:
1 pkg Pillsbury Nut
Quick Bread Mix
1 cup milk
¾ cup (1 medium)
apple, peeled and finely chopped
1 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
TOPPING:
¼ cup firmly packed
brown sugar
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp water
¼ tsp cinnamon
Heat oven to
350^F. Generously grease and flour
bottom only of 8x4” or 9x5” loaf pan. In
large bowl, combine all bread ingredients; stir 50 to 75 strokes until dry
particles are moistened. Pour into
prepared pan. In small bowl, combine
topping ingredients; sprinkle over top of batter. Bake at 350^ for 50 to 60 minutes or until
toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool upright in pan 15 minutes; remove from pan and cool on wire
rack. Wrap tightly and store in
refrigerator. 1 loaf.
